Kelly Beason

The Lord clearly called me to FUMC 4 years ago to serve as Children’s Director. I graduated from UAH with a bachelors degree in Business Administration but since the Lord cane into my life, my life became about the Fathers Business. I am married (37 years)to Steve Beason and we have 3 wonderful sons and a daughter in college and 5 precious grandchildren.   I was saved in Jan. 1988 and have been walking and serving Jesus since my salvation experience!! Just sharing some of my ministry background.

I taught kindergarten at Sand Mt. Christian School. I have been teaching bible school and children’s Sunday School for many years and mission bible schools in the area. I am certified in Evangelism Explosion.God lead me to serve year around with Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry ( sharing Gospel around the globe) as Area Coordinator for North Alabama and speaker. I was on WJIA Christian radio writing and sharing the “Beason Bit” to encourage people in their faith and walk with the Lord. God called me to write a book called,” Amazing Moments With the Savior.” ( Short stories of my encounters with the Lord)I have spoke at many conference and women’s events. I have been on mission trips involving children’s VBS and outreach ministry and disaster relief trips for those in Hurricane Katrina. All glory to the Lord for the wonderful opportunities he has given me to share His Word and encourage people in their faith.  Praying that children will love the Lord and their personal relationship with Him and grow in their faith!
